I have over 3 times this in the car. 25,000 for almost an 1100 HP at the fly wheel is a killer deal.

Thanks
That's an awesome build Mike Hope it finds a good home.... and don't tell my son!

I think we should hold off on telling him to do any mods until he's happy with the clutch. A show of hands of anyone who had the problems he's talking about at 8k miles. I'm betting it was none of us. Not until we started adding HP and going to the track. I know I never experianced my clutch pedel not returning until I started riding my clutch out at a high rpm at the track. Definately not doing a burnout down the street.
Sure all the mods, clutch return spring, seperate resy for the fluid are great but damn not right out of the gate. Plenty of us don't have those mods and we can surely do a burnout without his issues

Very wise advice, my friend. I just got back from driving her. I went out on a nice stretch of blacktop, and dumped the clutch, and she spun like crazy. Powershifted to 2nd, and got sideways on the shift. Powershifted to 3rd, and left a patch again! Now THAT's what I was expecting from this car. What do you guys think happened the other night? It was just like the other thread described. I think I'm even more confused now!

I had the pedal stick to the floor at about 4k miles on 2nd burnout using launch control..... I was attempting to break my tranny output shaft before sending it to LPE while the tranny would still be warrantied for the known heat treating problem. It's a matter of how hot the clutch fluid gets and how much crap it has accumulated in it. Higher boiling point like Motul RBF600 fluid helps.

That sounds like a good place to start. I just found Motul on Amazon cheaper than anywhere else, so I'll get a few bottles and drain out all the old and then add this stuff. Seems like an easy first fix to me.

Your car seems like it must be a monster! You've done a LOT to your car. I hope to meet up with you guys this spring and learn as much as possible from all of you guys.

Ok I don't understand how this. Are you talking about using your line loc?

Line lock was installed much later. Burnout (launch), then when shifting to second gear clutch pedal wouldn't come back up and rpm went nuts, meanwhile clutch helplessly burns until rpms come down.. Pulled back up by hand a few minutes later and it worked again. Installed separate reservoir with RBF 600 racing brake fluid later and it helped. LPE spring eliminated stuck pedal problem and Tick Performance bleed line made for an easy perfect bleed.
