a suggestion- purchase a PCV oil catch can. maybe the pcv system is malfunctioning. The catch can will stop it (the oil) from being drawn back into the intake manifold and burned. This may explain the lack of evidence of an oil leak or oil consumption thru the oil control rings.. My 2010 6.2 engine always has a small puddle of oil at the front of the intake manifold. I,m in the process of installing a catch can- will keep you all posted.

If I recall correctly I think there is a TSB from GM on a problem with defective valley covers that would cause excesive oil consumption with no evidence of oil leak! Has the car been checked out by the dealer yet?

edit: just noticed that it's in the shop now, my bad!

Kelleys car(Pinky) is on the rack, motor in pieces, she spun a bearing. Engine not a total loss, but big repairs needed. GM is footing the parts for her,

, but Pinky is KO for another week. They were going to start putting her back together today.
