You should add about 30 or 35 with headers. Maybe also get some nice cat-back like a Borla S-Type. If you aren't going to cam, not sure what else you can do besides porting heads or checking if you can advance timing a bit. Get at tuner! The canned SCT tune may not be that good, but I haven't tried it. I have a good tuner. With those, you should get at least 400.

Vmax tb, k&np intake, speed engineering headers, local shops high flow cats, e85
Not quite as high as I was expecting honestly. Baseline was on 93.
370 hp 380 tq (tuner said he got 389 tq also buthe this graph looked better)

Mine seems kind of low, I was honestly expecting a little more. Maybe the whole budget build thing really did end up in just an ok outcome. Any input?

So you only went up 12hp from baseline? With the addition of headers, intake, throttle body and E85? That makes no sense at all to me. Headers alone should add about 20 to 30. I don't know about that brand. I would go with Kooks headers with high flow cats, CAI or Roto-Fab intake.

Honestly, with this setup, I would assume you would be around 400. I would assume it was the budget parts that killed you... He increased your timing with the E85 right? That should have added another 20 or 30 as well. I mean, you really should be a bit over 400. So, maybe the budget parts are the issue.

Thats one thing I noticed from modding my car. If you cheap out on the parts, your gains and durability will suffer. I understand about needing to have a budget, etc. But, overall, its better to save for a longer time and get more quality parts.

Just my $0.02. Good luck man!

Well the baseline was 358 with all the mods already installed. Still seems low but I think my cars just a dud. Really makes me not want to save up for a cam now

Nice choices on mods so far! If those are your two throttle body preferences go with VMAX. BBK has had issues with sticking throttle bodies. Another great option is Bo White. He does excellent work porting throttle bodies. Happy modding!

Anyone have any numbers they made on a hub dyno (dynapack)? I made 400hp and 403 tq on e85 with my full bolt ons on a mustang dyno. I haven't put it on a hub dyno or dyno jet yet to compare numbers, but next week I should be able to take my car to this place to get it on the hub dyno. Just curious what I would make or if any of you guys have any numbers you would like to share. Thanks

I've been on a Dyna-Pak and Dyno-Jet several times each as I went through my mods. Never been on a Mustang yet. Last time I was on the Dyna-Pak, which was about a month ago, I put down 608 rwhp ... I believe the Torque was somewhere around 530 or 540 if I recall.

Not sure what info you are looking for here? Everyone is going to put down different power based on their mods.
