Sweet!!

So Steve, a few questions:

Now that you have set of bullet cams in hand, are these still going to used towards final testing and such...or are these actually ready for sale?

I thought I read earlier where you said these are more streetable and less extreme? Does that result in better engine life expectancy as well, or does it really not make a difference as long as the tune is good?

Would this make a positive on the entire rpm range, the mid to upper range, or would it possibly make less power down low but more up top? (I remember seeing the dyno graph from before, and it looked as though there was no power loss down low, but a whole lot gained higher in the rpm range)

Last question...I promise...is is feasible that these could also be used in the LFX, or do you know if different cams would be required for that engine? I'd think not, but really I have no clue lol.

Thanks again!

from my understanding the block is the same cept the intagrated manifolds and the intake manifold

as for the life expectancy with cam I would say if its the more aggressive ones, your going to need new valve springs (mace has) besides that if they are quality and made properly (Im sure they are!) you should have no problems. And even with the "more streetable" ones I would still get the new valve springs. I have seen the failures they lead to, and its not pretty when you cant find your piston in the block.

The LFX is the same as the LLT bar the Heads up, so no I would say that they would not fit in the the LFX.

Another question from me lol

I notice your dyno image on page 22 of this thread only includes AFR and HP. What does these cams do for Torque? Is the power change for TQ similar to the gains in HP, or different? I'm guessing it shifts the peak TQ range a bit?

Thanks for the kind works everyone

As mentioned many thousands of $$$ not to mention hours have been poured into this project. If I genuinely wasn't happy with the final outcome, I personally would be releasing them to market 100% So much so was extremely close to throwing in the towel on this project. Put it this way, if results weren't there I would have definitely said bye bye

I will try and answer some specific questions as best I can

"Now that you have set of bullet cams in hand, are these still going to used towards final testing and such...or are these actually ready for sale?"
These are ready for sale now

"I thought I read earlier where you said these are more streetable and less extreme?"
Correct

"Does that result in better engine life expectancy as well, or does it really not make a difference as long as the tune is good?"
Assuming that the tune was "perfect" these cams are more forgiving on the factory valve train. This was a HUGE deal for me as I wanted a product that was reliable within the factory components

"Would this make a positive on the entire rpm range, the mid to upper range, or would it possibly make less power down low but more up top? (I remember seeing the dyno graph from before, and it looked as though there was no power loss down low, but a whole lot gained higher in the rpm range)"
Where these will really shine is mid to top end. On the road, unlike conventional engines, tractability downlow is still very good thanks to the variable cam timing

"Last question...I promise...is is feasible that these could also be used in the LFX, or do you know if different cams would be required for that engine? I'd think not, but really I have no clue lol."
Need a set to take measurements, to confirm

"as for the life expectancy with cam I would say if its the more aggressive ones, your going to need new valve springs (mace has) besides that if they are quality and made properly (Im sure they are!) you should have no problems. And even with the "more streetable" ones I would still get the new valve springs. I have seen the failures they lead to, and its not pretty when you cant find your piston in the block."
With this latest cam profile, I can assure you that the fatigue life of the factory springs hasn't been compromised. This was a must for me when developing these cams

"The LFX is the same as the LLT bar the Heads up, so no I would say that they would not fit in the the LFX."
Don't know yet, but we'll get around it one way or another

"I notice your dyno image on page 22 of this thread only includes AFR and HP. What does these cams do for Torque? Is the power change for TQ similar to the gains in HP, or different? I'm guessing it shifts the peak TQ range a bit?"
Should have updated graphs soon

Kindest Regards,
Steve
