Christmas is here! Tomorrow is the big day for us! I can't believe how fast our car got here after it unloaded from the railcar on Saturday. It arrived this morning. My husband got to see it, but I haven't yet. 5thgen--Glad you got to see how great Becky is! She has been awesome to work with throughout this whole process.

The best decision I ever made was to cancel our initial order (placed on May 8) and order with her. She is definitely a class act! The other dealer, though is a different story. They are the ones who went ahead and placed our cancelled order as a "sold" order instead of taking the next order in line. Anyway both cars (our cancelled order and the one we ordered from Becky) ended up being produced the same week. Would you believe that this dealer had the nerve to give us a "courtesy call" last week--obviously trying to sell us the car that we cancelled. I was proud to tell him that we had just finished up the paperwork!

Not everyone understands the excitement for a car--it's great to have a group of people who "get it"!

I know of a dealership (in a very small town) that gets deliveries on the weekends and keys are placed in a drop box. I don't know if this happens at all dealerships or not.

They will accept deliveries after hours. Almost all dealerships have a night drop box. You should be all good.

He is too much of a coward. This is how spineless this guy is. I talked to him yesterday to let him know we would be up today to do paper work and asked if he was going to still give us the $28,000.. He kinda chuckled and in a joking way said "28,000 - I know what you gave for it" That is all he said except he wouldn't be there and would have his associate do the paperwork. Then today he leaves his associate to be the one to give us he bad news. Didn't even have the guts to tell us himself. We both think that he probably has someone else lined up willing to pay more for it. Why else would a dealer stop a for sure deal like that? Money makes people do really bad things and all I can say is what goes around comes around and he will get his in the end. If nothing else, he lost 2 very loyal customers who would have stuck with him till the end. Being a business owner we know what it means for people to be loyal and so we try our best to be until we have reason to change our mind.
