new comparison test

This is my first post to this forum. There is a new comparison between the mustang 5.0 and the camaro ss from Road and Track. I thought this thread could use another comparison. I aplogize if it has been mentioned before. I would also like to add that I am very upset with the Motor Trend comparison. Why do they hate the Camaro so much? The Camaro is the best looking car I have ever seen. I have owned Corvettes and mustangs in the past and the ride and comfort of the Camaro is far superior to those other cars.

And what Motor Trend does is terrible.

This Road and Track comparison is another comparison which shows the camaro to be a quicker and faster car than the Mustang. The comparison even mentions the superior ride provided by the Camaro. In a previous comparison with the 2010 Mustang they obtain 12.9 in the 1/4 for the ss. They still pick the mustang though in there subjective ratings.

Thanks for the link. And thats what I dont understand. If the Camaro is faster and has a better ride, then how in the heck does the Mustang win?

By the way, I sent you a PM. ( Private Message. )

You sent me one back ( the right way ). Just when you open a PM scroll down until you see a box you can type in and scroll down to the bottom of the box where it says "[/QUOTE]" and start typing, then send.

Hope that helps!

Though the outcome isn't as good as I'd like, I believe it is fairly unbiased and has great points. Well done

Really did you read this?

"That the 2010 car, even with its power disadvantage, won our last comparison test"

So they are unbiased even when the 2010 mustang won over the 2010SS?

SS was quicker in acceleration, only, in empirical tests, right?. The dang Mustang was quicker around the course, and had better grip. Acceleration is not the only measure of the performance of a car. The way the article read to me was different than reviews from other rags', so that's why I have the opinion I do. Just because SS doesn't win means they are biased? Not for me. Subjective things, like lack of vision, or styling, or bland interior don't mean squat to me. I give credit where I think it's due.

Understand I'm talking the 2010 mustang not the 2011 5.0, Their saying the 2010 was better

So with the none adjustd LR Axel, 100 plus less hp, it won from simply winning a lateral test, I gues the SS couldn't win this debate regardless
