Dealer is charging me up the ass to have it fixed, but there isn't much I can do about it.

No. It would save me a few hundred but I don't have space or tools to do it here. Plus I would have to get it towed back, and by the time all that would be said and done, I'd end up paying close to what the dealer wants.

I figure that I'll be paying out my ass but at least it'll be fixed right and with quality parts, and if something does go wrong it'll be warrantied.

No I just mean from the production numbers and allocations that are being released today, that getting a 2012 ZL-1 is probably not even possible and I will have to wait for the 2013's

It's not excuse making at all. I don't have tools up here, I don't have space to work on her, and I don't have time to do it. And again, even if I did have tools and space and time, I'd have to pay to have her towed again. On top of buying new parts, towing bills, and being unable to go to work, it would end up costing almost the same to just have the dealer do it and do it right.
