Yes, it's going to begin production the first quarter of next year, and it's definitely going to fly.

They are both very impressive in their own way.... I will never forget the first time I watched the Raptor doing some drills!

Number 3, a question or 2 if you don not mind.
If the 3000 production level for the 2012 ZL1 is correct, do you think it is good or bad?
Since the convertible ZL1 has been annouced as a 2013 model, what would you forecast the production volume at? 3K coupe and 3K conv for the 2013 model year? Or as many as there are orders for?

Sidenote. In high school I wanted to fly fighter jets. Lack of self confidence as a kid made me give up that dream. That was my first and foremost love, besides the space program. I'm a geek on both. Heres a real kick in the ass, ready? In '77 my dad had a friend at GM. Fresh out of dropping out of college to go hang at Burger King with my race car buddies, my dad asked me if I wanted to go to the GM Institute, and I said no. LOL....yeah,...but like I tell the family we made it this far and we will make it the rest of the way. Doors open and shut, but determination is what makes us get on down the line.

I think it is about right give the length of the run and pent up demand.

The Camaro TEAM would all be sitting in corners crying if the 2013 ZL1 run is a total of 6,000 for the best Camaro ever built by Chevrolet were it priced like a Z/28. Alas the ZL1 is not priced like a Z/28. 6,000 units would be an awesome model year run for a $50K plus Camaro and the Camaro TEAM will be celebrating.

Signed,

That's understood my friend. What I heard today is that it won't be any better in '13 FYI. That was my point. Tight lines are drawn for the Beast.
