Hi guys! Finally back home in Cedar Falls. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and wish you a Happy New Year! I had a great time over the holidays; family, food, cars, guns, snow, you name it!

I had my baseline dyno session out at Karl Performance. NICE PLACE!! There is a lot of stuff going on there. Paul was able to stop out and watch the dyno also. It was good to see you Paul. I also saw another familiar car there, which would be Tim S' 67 Camaro. Love that car! Anyway here is the breakdown of the dyno:

1st Pull: 398.0rwhp 405.7rwtq (BEST)
2nd Pull: 389.6rwhp 390.7rwtq (no cool down)
3rd Pull: 394.1rwhp 395.7rwtq (with cool down)

Average: 393.9rwhp 397.4rwtq

I am very pleased with my numbers. It was a cool 38.8º in the dyno bay so it was very dense air. Both Paul and I had to do a double take on the 1st pull. Those are some strong numbers with my mods: CAI Inductions intake, VMAX Ported Throttle Body, Apex scoop with washer relocation. I cannot wait to get the headers in and get down there for another dyno session.

I got back home tonight and had to drudge through about 7" of snow to get in my driveway. The Camaro actually made it all by itself. I had to back up a couple of times to get a running start again but no real issues. It's all clear now so no worries.

I was just not happy with the service i got from them, they told me everything on my car was wrong and needed changed, but with speking to kenne bell, comp and others who i have parts from all think it should be fine. Im not a tuner and dont know who to believe it why i went there. I'm glad others have had good luck there, i just wasnt happy and wont recommend them.

Fair enough. Has your tuning taken care of then else where?

Thanks, it was a good time for sure. Definitely looking forward to the follow up post header dyno.

I won't be going to C5Fest this year. I have a wedding to go in Seattle this year a week before and have decided I will just drive out there instead.

Nice Jason. Had to take a look at your avatar to see if you had the L99 or LS3 to get those numbers, but then you said you didn't have headers installed yet either...Wow those are some big numbers. lol

And they just had the dyno re-calibrated.

Very nice!! So maybe a strong 425 with the headers!! Strong car with the parts you have. Congrats!!

Talking with Chase at Apex. Going to send in my TB to get ported sometime soon.

Also waiting for BTR to get back with me. Hoping they can get me complete list of all parts and numbers so that I can start buying some of the internals here and there. After I have everything then I will do my cam work. Hoping that in 2015 I can go ahead with the cam swap...
