So this new Z28 looks like a decent car. Let's just hope the rumored pricing is inflated.

What are they saying it might cost?
I like it though, be nice to see how it will compare in some of the tests and tracks out there to the current cars out. I am sure a lot of them will end up never seeing what they are stripped down and designed to be, especially if the price stays to high. But I'd take one, put a radio in the glove box and go have fun!

ZL1 competes with the Shelby GT500 Z28 competes with the Boss 302/Laguna Seca 1LE competes with the GT Track Pack SS competes with the GT Personally if I were to buy a Camaro, the Z28 is the model I'd buy. Last edited by Seer; 03-28-2013 at 05:39 PM. |

Saying that a ZL1 competes with a GT500 is a kick in the nuts. That car is nothing worth writing home about. Jam a supercharger on an SS and you'll make more power. Do a few suspension upgrades in an SS and you'll handle with it. The Mag ride is neat technology, but it's not a game changer. It's an incremental step forward.

Averaging 40 mpg, going 1400 miles, the cost of fuel is minimal really. I'm thinking $150 in fuel. And i get to go drink his beer, see what I'm buying and hand him a fist full of hundreds, and work on his corvette with him all evening while drinking said beer! It's actually a gun little adventure.
