The traction control wasn't completely off the first pass so it bogged like crazy and the 2nd pass he missed 3rd. Driven well I can see low 13s but unless it picks up a good bit of power with 93 octane another 6mph is a little ways off.

We put 1/2 tank of 93-octane in today (I got it down to only 10 miles left on the tank of 87 so it's pretty pure) so dyno #s and with any luck more track times yet to come today

You sure you didn't by the V6, those are V6 numbers

i own Bill's Ford performance. i build fast fords and cater to mustang guys. i buy an SS, test it, tune it, and the numbers and perfomance are off. and you guys know they are off. how many of you are going to buy ANYTHING i try to sell you for your SS? thats the point.

WTF??? I don't think I seen anyone misinterpret something so bad. They were completely up front with the testing AND they are not done. The Mustang numbers looked pretty damn good as well. Get a grip already.

I'm sure the 60ft times were horrible. The car is certainly capable of much better times. Let's not kid yourself.

No I mean those are exactly MT and C&D numbers for the V6 stang

LOL -- that is why I really didn't want to divulge them until we made a few more passes in it today

It will be interesting to see how much the trap speeds increase with the 93-octane regardless of driver error.

It is worth mentioning that a Cobra-owner that is a client of ours and races his mid/high 11-second Cobra at this same track every single week drove it for the 2nd pass. One pass wasn't enough to nail it obviously.

Give one person 3 passes today and we should have a solid time to reference for a stock car

14.0 @ 106 is there anything wrong with those times? this makes the mustang a 300hp car.

Times can be off for many reasons. Driver mod is always the forgotten point.
We all know the car is a low 13 to high 12 sec. car with the right driver as is the SS.

Sounds good. The ET/MPH difference with premium vs regular fuel is going to be minimal....a tenth and a mph perhaps. Not missing a gear will have a MUCH bigger effect on both numbers. Weather plays a big part too....as hot and humid as it is...well, you know.

Quick question - what gear is in the car? Just curious as 3.31s or 3.55s will show a better mph in a bone stock car than 3.73s.
