In other news, went to the NKY Fbody car show in NKY yesterday. Wow were some of those 4th genners jealous a-holes.

Anyway, they have a car show coming up Sept 17th. Not sure if I'm going to go, but if a few C5 folks want to go down, I'm game.

I also found out about this fron NKY F-Bods - On sept 15th, GE is putting on a cruise. It looksl ike its free and includes dash plaques and dinner??? However its in Ohio at GE park. Interesting that I had to go to KY to learn about events in Ohio. This is something I'd definately be interested in going to if anyone else is interested. Its like 2 minutes from my house!

According to them, Every Thursday there is a cruise in in Sharonville, Every Friday there is a cruise-in at kroger in Milford, and every sunday is a cruise in at quaker steak but I cant find out which one yet. Anyone know?

We should get some Camaro vs. mustang events going on!!! They have a bunch of Ford only events.

Kroger on 28 in Milford

QS&L on 450 off 275 in Clermont Co.

I've been to both. I also knew about the Sharronville one.

You just need to ask the right people buddy.

And, I would have been totally in yesterday. Thanks for the text!

The Mustang/Camaro idea is a GREAT idea. Time to be thinking about 2012 events tho. 11 is coming to an end... FAST!

Definitely thinking about '12 events.

I would have told you among others about the NKY Fbod show, but I didn't know about it! I was racing SCCA AutoX at Turfway Park, and they made an announcement that there was a car show happening from 1-4 less than a quarter mile away. We got out about 3:15 and I decided I'd swing by to check it out. Only then did I find out it was being put on my the NKY F-Bodies and it was 1/4 Classic cars and 3/4 F-body muscle... Camaros and Firebirds, all gens! (well only 1 5th gen besides the two that came from autoX). Thats why I posted up about all these other events!

For real. Where the heck did summer go? :( At least by the time the '12 events roll around I'll have my exhaust and probably my headers done. Woop!

I'd be down for some Mustang vs Camaro action though... and the Mustang owners can't hate me because I owned a mustang for 8 yrs.

My cars officially for sale. Its probably great for someone who doesnt race or anything. '10 camaro SS M6 TE RS with 20" polished aluminum wheels- Includes magnaflow exhaust, side vent decals, window tint, removable tinted taillights, tinted turn signals, $1500 laser jammer and radar system with GPS (Escort 9500ci) additional transformer badging, ******** box with two 12" subs and 1200 watt audibahn amp, plus a 2 farad capacitor. Its been properly cared for by its owner (all mobile 1) and has all receipts, window sticker, . Has factory exhaust, second set of new floormats, and loaded with every option except sunroof. 26k on it. I paid $38k for it. The dealer said I'm going to get about 29-30 for it in trade in (which is more than I imagined), so I'll going to go ahead and list it at 32.5k, which is actually 2k under what I've seen elsewhere, but If I dont sell it I dont really care, I'll just trade it in lol...

Hows that for the worst posting in history? really. And no don't move this to the for sale forum because this is informational for my local Ohio friends and im not actually trying to sell it to anyone on the boards.

Just trade that POS off. It's easier PLUS you get the tax break on the new car.

Selling for $32,000 is the same as trading for $29,700! If they are giving you that to begin with, why dick with trying to sell it?

Keep that in mind! What ya looking at?

I usually only make it to Harrison on Tuesdays & Thursdays. The rest of the time I work at home in Lebanon. I work at the place on the other side of the gravel pit from the high & jr high schools.

Where was the white Camaro? I haven't seen any other Camaros in Harrison.

I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)
