Oh definitely. They've exceeded my expectations for sure. Any Saturday can be an upset in college football though. They should handle Northwestern but I wouldn't be devastated if they didn't, just disappointed.

Yep no turn overs and few penalties are the key.

Well when you run the ball as well as they are you can understand why the passing yardage is down. We've had 3 games in a row over 300 yards rushing. You can see how that can hurt your passing yardage. When we need to, we will. i.e. Notre Dame. About 95 yards in 28 seconds.

Q: How do you starve a Longhorn fan?A: Hide the food stamps under the soap.
Q: What's the difference between Longhorn fans and a puppy?A: The puppy eventually stops whining. Did you hear about the Longhorn who was a dyslexic agnostic with insomnia? He laid awake all night wondering if there really is a dog. Q: How can you tell if a Longhorn is a married man?A: There's tobacco juice running down both doors of his pickup. Q: Why do Texas cheerleaders wear bibs?A: To keep the tobacco juice off their uniforms. Q: What's the difference between an Texas Cheerleader and Bigfoot?A: One's 6 feet tall and hairy.

Like they already said with the running game we have we haven't needed to throw the ball. HOWEVER, when we face faster, more athletic defenses that can stack the box and contain our running game, Denard will have to step up and make those big throws to loosen the defense back up. If he can't make good defenses respect his arm we will get beaten. Denard's passing has been lackluster but that's part of learning Borges' new offensive system. He's adapting and Borges is adapting to what Denard is comfortable with. Last week was a big improvement in Denard's timing and comfort throwing the ball, even though it was against inferior competition. It was still a nice confidence booster and is yet another key piece to the big puzzle. I like what I'm seeing so far as I think they've come a LONG way in a short time.
