I think you EVS guys are a little late to the punch here to have my faith. Scotty has always seemed to be square and this is not something that just started with the preorders and all. I thought the video was almost kind of laughing at us for believing in preodering this car. I take that EVS hasn't sold any preorders or they sold them to customers believing that it was just a marketing survey. I find this hard to believe. Why the so sudden interest now when we have been ordering under the premises that it does mean something, why did you wait till now to come on this forum and post it. To me something stinks here! Maybe I am totally wrong, but I am going to believe that Scotty has been giving us reliable information and from I have seen has led no one down a wrong path. For me this isn't about the delay in production but the V6 to V8 distributions. BTW proportionately speaking small dealers are no dif than big dealers with SS's or not, alot of sales = alot of allocations, not many sales = not many allocations. I am #6 out of 8 with only 2 SS's ordered, me being one! Explain how a bigger dealership with more allocations will get there SS's filled before my dealer get theres filled! If I am correct in my thinking All allotments should be filled approximately same time frame.
There is my 2 cents for what is worth. Prolly not worth that now with inflation and all. Doh!

Its the thought that counts bro....thanks for being there for us.

Yeah, I did the same thing earlier this afternoon before calming down and thinking about GM's big picture....threatened to go out and buy a Challenger. Nah, I don't think so!

Here's the issue from my point of view. If GM has given dealerships an allotment number, but didn't tell them there would be a required V6 to V8 mix and the dealerships allowed all of the allotments to be V8s, then GM is in the wrong. I want to know from the dealer here if GM told them of the required V6 count within their allotments. If not, then the dealers and us as consumers were dupped!

Small prediction here, but by October, not only will the "Pre-orders" be filled but there will be SS's on lots.... Not a ton mind you, but I think they will be there.

I'm just not Buying how this is all doom and gloom. If they make as many cars as they claim they will there will be plenty to go around.

Guess we now know why there haven't been any SS reviews in the enthusiast press, eh?

No shit, I cannot see how GM plans to make 70-80 thousand camaros a year and people think it is going to take 10 months to get their car. If GM goes at that pace, then they will never hit their production mark. Not in a million years.

I sell construction equipment, and the notion of making a customer who has given me a (in effect) purchase order wait while I bring in other equipment "on spec" just seems illogical as hell. Of course, if I knew I had the guy by the short hairs...nah, I wouldn't do that, and GM shouldn't either, in my humble, unsolicited opinion.

This is similar to my situation. My dealer was allotted 5. I was first to order my SS. I know 2 were SS and I think one was V6. I don't know if the other 2 were ordered and what they were.
