So what all that drama(not trying to offend anyone) has to do with the RX catch cans? Mine is working fine I don't see the need to replace it... now if we talking about SC then...

I guess a few people have seen quite a bit of oil still blow by.

I can say that I, Lil Nasty, and V6 owner have all seen blow by. And not only did I have blow by but the crappy check valve was messing up all the time.

I think the check valve in them causes issues, frankly. The complaints that I've seen most have been rattling noise and oil leaking out of the breather-cap (when installed with the can). Apparently, removing the check valve cures the rattle. I've not experienced the rattle, but from time-to-time my breather-cap is soaked in oil. The only thing I can think of is something is getting blocked/stuck and allowing the crankcase to pressurize. I've done the "orifice drill mod" that Tracy constantly recommends, but I've had the oil soak issue again anyway. I've got a Mike Norris catch can on order. I'll swap that in and see if anything changes.

You mean oil still go inside? I'm going to check that out then... I don't bother in look because the amount in the catch can is almost 1/2 of cup in every oil change... then if it's like that, I have a reason to get the elite!

I used to have both rx catch can and their breather. my breather also would get covered in oil. so I took it off.

well, another possibility is the clean side getting blow by. I know there were a few people that had dry dirty side and oil in the clean side.

Mmmm I have mine a year +, no noises, no soak breather cap... I might be lucky! But I'll be checking this since Im doing a oil change before Indy, I guess I'm coming back with a new catch can...

How I make sure? Checking if there's oil inside the intake?
