Thanks PsychoRS! Premier Performance in West Jordan is going to do it. I'm going to have them install Pedders Subframe mounts and diff bushings as well. I'm not going to do the JRE posi mod

I'll let you all know how they turn out.

There's another Utahrn here now. I just bought a 2010 2SS/RS with 6-speed manual trans. It's my retirement gift to myself.

I may be an old fart, but I'm not ready to grow up. I also have a car I race on the salt flats. It's a 550 hp 406-powered Monte Carlo SS.

I figger I'll race the Camaro on the salt in the 130 Club this September and if I can get the ignition issues and the roll cage straightened out in the Monte, I'll run it in the 150 Club.

I've only had the Camaro for...4 days. But it was love at first site. Hell, it was lust when I saw the first 5th Gens the day they were released. I had a 67 RS/SS that I had to sell a few years back and I've never regretted selling a car as much as that one. The 2010 is kinda my way of getting it back...and more.

Ohh...I live in SW Salt Lake County. My website (that I've run since 1997) is http://www.chevyasylum.com/Welcome.html

I also run the Target 550 streamliner site. We're gonna blow the piston-engined, wheel driven record all to hell next year:
http://www.target550.com/index.html Current record is 416 and change, we're shootin for 550 mph. The fastest car in that category has made an unofficial run over 450, but nobody's ever run over 500.

Anyway, it might be an interesting experience to run the Camaro at Miller's track days (Wide Open Wednesdays, maybe Time Attack) and see how it does on that track.

Just happy to be here,

We post our club events here and here http://www.facebook.com/CAMAROSLUT

We just had our Christmas Dinner this past Saturday at Red Rock Brewery. Great time with a crazy bunch of Guys and Gals!

Member Chevy69er on here does road course events. He's a good source if you're looking for more info. I'm the detailer of the group. I'm too scared to get My Camaro dirty

Welcome Ray! We have to get together in the spring and discuss MMR and the local SCCA scene. Would love to go out and put the hammer down on the Camaros!

Here are some photos from 2001 of the "Utah F-Body Association" get-together at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City:

The orange 67 was one I built for my ex-wife. I had to sell it a few years later because of health issues.

I posted this on the Camaro SL,UT Facebook page but I know some of you aren't on Facebook. Anybody interested in showing off their Camaro at the Autorama this year? It's 2/22-24/2013. You have to drop your car of on 2/21 and you can't take it out of the exhibit hall until Sunday night the 24th. It's $50 to enter, but you get two weekend passes. Which pays for the $50, normally one ticket is $13 a day! Let me know. I'd like to get at least six cars going as a Camaro SL,UT display. If not I'll just do it by myself.
