1. Had undercoat and Corsa exhaust put on car
Issue: some wing nut drove the car immediately after the undercoat was applied and impeded a million bits of tiny gravel into the under coating in the wheel wells. My response: even a woman knows you don't dig in the dirt immediately after painting your nails!
Issue: the exhaust rattled and bumped while driving over anything but smooth road. Then the pipes weren't aligned with the ground effects. When the pipes heat up they expand and this was not accommodated.
3. Had the gravel removed from wheel wells (due to dirt/gravel issue).
Issue: They skipped the air drill and dinged one of my rims. Not real noticeable, but I bought the car perfect.
4. Oil change, fix tire pressure indicator (warning light stayed on), weather stripping below rear window came loose, rear spoiler bolt broke (like they said on Camaro5), ticking noise on start up (later learned this is normal?)
Issues: When I picked the car up, tire indicator had not been reset. The back window weather striping glue-job looked like someone applied it while experiencing a seizure.

Wondering if you all have had good experiences. If so, where are you taking your car? I love my sales guys and the service managers are great. I'm just pissed about the quality of work that I've been receiving from the mechanics. I'm guessing that when I wash my car, I'm going to find little scratches from some uncaring individual who worked on my car.
I haven't taken mine anywhere for anything yet. Well, except I had the stripes put on and the window tinting done. Had good experiences at both of those places. I've been planning to take it to "thebrianhart" for it's first oil change really soon. He works at a Chrysler dealer, but being a Camaro owner I figure I'll get white glove treatment if I insist that he does the work. I feel bad about yours. Some people just don't seem to have any respect.

Lisa that sucks!! I've always taken all my Chevrolet's to Tom Scharlow at Larry H. Miller Chevrolet. 801-264-3300. I've never, ever had a problem in the sixteen years I've gone there. I don't buy my cars from there but they all get serviced there. Tom and his staff are second to none!

Here is a little tale on why I keep going back. About ten years ago when my Hannah was a baby we had a Chevrolet Venture Mini Van. While parked at Fashion Place mall somebody broke out the passenger side window of the van. They didn't steal anything and to this day we are not sure why somebody did this. This was about a week before Christmas and it was 25 degrees outside. We pulled into Larry H. Miller to see how much a new glass would cost. After we heard the amount we knew we couldn't afford it (keep in mind me and my Wife were just starting out and didn't have a whole lot of extra cash back then). We asked Tom if his guys could just put up some clear plastic so we could drive it home. He said Bullsh** you guys have a Baby!! He had his guys take the window out of one of their shuttle vans and install it in our van. He never charged us. That's customer care that is very rare these days. And who knows, if that same thing happened today to a young couple he might not do it or be able to do what he did for us but I'll never forget his generous gift that Christmas.

(somebody hand me a tissue now)

No seriously, Larry H. Miller's service bay is the best!!

Wow Scooch I would always go back to Larry miller for service to.

Yeah its a bummer so Im thinking that getting my car by Saturday is now out of the question. Next week is ok but weather shows snow in the mountains with possible trace in the valley it will scare me to drive my new baby with summer tires.

Oh yeah on the site I have been reading that they are going to discontinue ABM so I guess my color will be a rare .. I better stock up on touch up paint lol..

Ok well have a good day everyone..

I am not sure if I can do that but I will try ( for the day anyway)

Wonder why they would discontinue the ABM... it sure WILL make yours a rare one. Maybe the paint is hard to mix, or too expensive or something.

Let's go to Cheyenne... Lightning is burning rubber in the garage... begging to go. (Stupid Cheyenne interchange anyway).

That completely sux... I would hope they take care of any issues you have.
I had to take mine in 3 days after I got it because the check engine light was on. I took it back to Gus Paulos, where I bought it, and they did a great job taking care of me and the car. I was given a rental vehicle after it was determined it was a defective oxygen sensor and they needed to keep it overnight and air freight one in. Then when I went to pick her up, they had given her a bath and a detail. They send out a service survey after each time I have had any of my vehicles in there. So far I have had no issues.

P.S. SSOOCH, your story hit a soft spot...

While SSOOCH could write a card for Hallmark, I'd be more inclined to clip letters out of magazines and newspapers to send a "creepy" letter. I'll be talking to the service department AGAIN.
