I've had my yellow SS for just over a month now and have had more "nice car" comments in one month than I ever did in my 911 driving it for 5 years.

I get a lot of nice comments while out and of course at some cruise ins. The best part is when I park the car either to get gas or at a local spot. When I get in and start it the heads quickly turn and just watch me as I go down the street, now that's grabbing attention lol. Had one idiot throw something on the back of my car, was extremely pissed. If I had something in the car to throw back I would've, this for that luckily it didn't make a scratch.

There's a strip in my town full of bars and restaurants, and i routinely head down there to grab some wings or other assorted food that's bad for me. Last night on the way back i stopped at a stop sign in the middle of the strip and heard a kid say "Dad! Look at that car, look at that car, look at that car, Dad! DAD!" So i clutched it and gave him about 5grand on the tach and a "spirited" launch from the stop sign. Saw the kid jumping up and down in the rear view. Made my night really.

Went over to the local Chevy dealership after a monthly get together to let me wife see one of the new green special edition Camaros. While there, there was a couple checking it out, looked like they had just driven it or were about to drive it, either way they seemed VERY interested in the car. Well when they spotted mine coming up the isle both him and her looked up and had their eyes glued to my ABM. The sales guy, still trying to make the sale attempted everything he could to keep their attention, but as we looked at the car both of the couple's eyes were glued to our Camaro. He looked back at the green one once we had passed, but I noticed his wife/girlfriend's eyes still glued to ours so I popped it into neutral and gave the engine a small rev. She grinned ear to ear because she knew she had been caught. My wife and I left the dealership lot laughing because we knew our car was better in their eyes, even though we felt bad for totally dynamiting that guy's sale. And yes, that car still sits on their lot to this day...oops!

I was tempted to at least shoot the tires

but knew that wouldn't turn out well in the end. Now if the top was down and he did that he would not have been so lucky. Whoop ass would be the result lol. Other than that usually give the kids a little rev to see them smile.

Nothing but love from people of all ages! Although one time I had to correct an older gentleman in a parking lot when he said "Nice Mustang"! When I informed him that it was a Camaro he proceeded to pump his fist in the air and yelled, "YES, American Muscle" while doing a dance! Gotta love it!

I get more thumbs-ups and smiles than anything but have been asked a few times in the last 12 months if I'm having a mid-life crisis (I'm a 53 year-old teenager); I've replied to people "No I have a really small dick & this helps" If accompanied by a knowing wink and a grin it raises a smile in return...

No, Aqua Blue Metallic (ABM) is a deeper blue than the Hot Wheels Camaros. Incidentally, I looked at a Hot Wheels Camaro at the same dealership once. After the test drive I parked the Hot Wheels next to my ABM. While sitting there looking it over I had 4 people come over and seriously check out MY Camaro and not a single one looked at the Hot Wheels. It was at that moment that I knew that I wasn't getting a new Camaro that day.
