Wish I could go but will be working those days. But I'm sure that there will be plenty of photos and videos(hint hint) that will make me think that I'm there.

Quick question for those like me driving several hours over the highway to get to the event.
Are you guys putting anything on the front of your cars to protect them from debris/bugs/etc? I was thinking of putting something on the car to make it a bit easier to clean up once I get down there. It's spring so bugs shouldn't be "too" bad but 500-600 miles is still a lot of road to cover and I'm sure there'll be a few. What's everybody doing? I thought blue painter's tape but dang that'll look funny going down the road. I don't wanna put a bra on the car. |

As stupid as this will sound, I've seen folks put Saran Wrap (sp) on the front of the car. Self adheres, can start on one side and go to the other, then cut in front of the grill and fold it back. Just keep an eye on it. When you stop, peel it off and slap on a new "clear bra" in seconds.

I am finding that the polish/sealant I put on the front makes the bug crap really easy to get off with detailing spray if I don't let it sit...
This is working really well with the Midnight Silver paint on the rims, too... (try explaining to the neighbors why you are putting wax/polish on rims....)

I was damn tired...but smiling like a Cheshire Cat...
