Apparently a guy with a stock 2011 5.0 A6 went a 12.57 on a 1.949 60ft time.

H/C supercharger is nice if you can afford it. The place where I got my tune had one that was making 600rwhp with only 6-8 psi I believe...H/C and TVS. The license plate said "youdlse" lol

Still wondering if I should spend the extra money on heads. They dont show much gain for the price IMO (20-30hp)

BTW...did you keep your 4th gen? That was a sweet car.
After weeks of research...I'm going with a cam. But I'm making sure the cam grind I'm picking out will work with a blower down the line.

I'm going cam first because that's what I can afford at the moment...the blower will come later and the car should pass 600rwhp easy at that point.

I'm in the same boat as you with the choice on the heads....I'm not sure the cost is worth the 20hp. At this point, I'm pretty sure I'm going to pass on the heads.

I sold the 99 to local guy from Tech, he the car to death, and drove on the Power Tour with me this year. The 99 was a legit 11 second car, and he knocked down 24mpg on the trip. LSX power

I wonder if this time is reachable with an L99 via tune only.

Excellent choice on the cam with the blower down the line!

Also as for head work I have some excellent CNC port work that is a great price, I will shoot you a reply to an old PM with some info.

On topic again... Camaro > Mustang, we are on a Camaro forum after all. (This topic exploded, but what if I was to provide some video of some racing in Mexico between these stock cars... )

Regards

The guys running these 12.5x E.Ts in the Mustangs are impressive and are only going to get better. Do you think any of them changed the tire pressure on these runs??? My 58 was stock down to the tire pressure!

well im sure if one did adjust the tire pressure in their stock tires, since it wasnt the stock air that came in the tire from the factory that would make it NOT stock. right guys?

If it was foreign air it would not be stock.

Not a chance on stock tires but maybe with DR's. Either way its clear that L99's are not going to be running as fast as 5.0's unless modded. Pisses me off that GM had to put such a small cam in this car.
