The only ticket I've ever had was for curfew. Got pulled over coming home from a date at 2AM. Lawyers are the best.

I had something of a curfew till I was 20 simply because of my financial dependence on my parents at the time.

Once I became more independent it stopped being a curfew and more of a "please keep us informed so we don't worry"

It's because your parents still have some sort of control over you when you are home, versus none at school. I had a mother that was a control nazi, I just stopped caring and everytime she asked I said I was going to go hang out with hookers and do drugs. After hearing that al the time she finally stopped asking.

that is all any parent wants to know. Too much evil in this world, and so much we are not in control of. Does it really kill a child to tell a parent "I'm heading over to see so-so and will be back around blah-blah time". I don't care who you are, or how old you are. Once you have kids, you will be the exact same way, because you care. If you think you are outside of this norm, you again are mistaken.
