When going to deal for a car at the dealership, chest thumping doesn't mean crap. Know your financial data, or you'll more than likely will be able to smile and take a little solace in how little your salesman knows about the horsepower while at the same time you lay on the dealer's financing office floor with your azzhole bleeding.

A co-worker just bought a new Honda, or something. I asked him what interest rate he got.

He didn't know. He freaking didn't know.

Uneducated consumers make it too tempting for predatory snakes.

Am I just assuming he got screwed? Wanna bet he's paying about 9% with good credit? I'd bet the farm on it.

But, to be fair to the non-predatory snakes out there, maybe they gave him a fair interest rate.

That's because your Camaro is a factory wimp. Stock C5s will and have gotten roasted by my 2012 SS.
