There is a lot of talk around the seperator - I keep mine off as I don't track my car.
Another good thread about my experience at dealership/warranty http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=oil+seperator |

The dealership put my separator kit on. How do you remove this end of the oil separator kit tubing? The end that goes to the can has a quick disconnect. Air intake end, I have no idea? TIA

Or you could replace the OE plastic with one of these to match your CC:

Just got around to installing mine tonight and I noticed that the can tightens but still has play. The play is front to back and not side to side. Is this normal? Any help is appreciated!

Thanks. I would have though it would have been a tight seal like the cap.

Where's you get it? Any idea how it compares to Elite's separator?

Have you guys with the RX separators had any problems? I was looking for more info on them and found this...
http://www.f150ecoboost.net/forum/14...separator.html Some folks are having their separators... separate into two pieces! Looks like they're cracking near the base. They look good, since they come in white so I was going to order one but stuff in this other forum got me worried. The Elite version looks good too but their guys haven't replied to my questions in their thread.

Looks great, Wade.
No issues with any of my Rx products.

My separator was installed when I picked up my car. Mine came with a set of stapled GM 8 1/2 x 11 color instructions for the 1LE oil separator, the stock oil cap, and the stock routed plastic hardline all in the glove box.

Looks like both Elite & RX can't keep these in stock...
The Elite guys responded to a PM saying just that so I ordered from RX since their web page showed they were in stock... the color selection was nice too. Now, 2 weeks later I just got an email saying they're having a supplier issue and expect more in another 2 weeks :( So, just a heads up if you're looking to get one. Glad to see these guys are getting the business, but man I'm anxious to get mine!
