Same here, I`ve run w/ in 3 tenths of a 800rwhp GT-500 at my local track, 700rwhp not running an automatic I`m spankin that blue oval GT-500 booty... Its tons of fun seeing the stricken looks on GT-500, 5.0 and corvette owners faces when you put buslengths on them... Them being stock or lightly modded thinking, oh.. big fat Slomaro I`m going to smack that azz... Then getting their pp schwacked and taking it back to the dealer because something must be wrong w/ it I just got treated like a lil biatch by a fat slomaro...Lol...


Now just for sh@ts and giggles, I would like to have a 5.0 mustang set up like my Camaro too also make the Zl-1, Corvette and GT-500 owners cry the same way...

Bolt on best before blower 12.22@113.29 w/ nothing but ARH headers, catted x-pipe, ADM CAI and a tune on stock Pzero`s!

Other car 2008 C6 Ls3, z51, A6, Npp Exhaust, best bonestock pass 11.80@118.82, Number 2 on the Corvette Forums Bonestock fastest list..

I wish I were still in VA for this reason. There arent many boosted 5th gens here...

We're getting there, driveline upgrades next and eventually rubber. Then will be ready to quit my day job.

Not quite. There is a Mustang GT500, and a Ford GT (350 or 500). The Ford GT is Ford's Corvette, the Mustang (GT, GT500, Cobra, Boss, et al) is Ford's version of Camaro (LT, SS, Z/L1, Z/28, et al).

Having owned a Cobra, I'm telling you that you wouldn't want any part of GMRULZ boosted SS, the car is down right nasty and runs the number or within a hair of it on each and every pass. I watched many modified, boosted 5.0s, and Cobras go up against this car last November and they were all smoked, while they struggled to plant the power he was gone. If the new ZL1 auto can plant and run like this car watch out.

There is a guy still on an Eaton running 10.86 with 100RWHP less in Norther North Carolina.

Maybe we should try and get these guys to meet up at a track.

I wouldn't go that far - Ford hasn't built the GT in 5 years or so. Ford doesn't have an answer for the 'vette, and no, I don't think the new GT500 is either.
