Oh, and on another note, with the wanting to "push" through the brakes when at a stop, just do what I have done for ever, put it in neutral while sitting. Mine doesn't "push" but I still put it in neutral to take the pressure off the clutches while sitting still.. Works for me..
This is what I have to do at lights because of pushing, do you think it's bad for the trans doing that all the time?

No regrets . In fact I’d probably regret it if I didn’t do it . Cars are boring without them, or modded . Actually makes it more fun for me to see what I’ve done after installing my parts that I choose .that’s pretty much my fault though , street bikes ruined excitement for me lol

I have Sierra Denali fbo - stage 3 vvt cam going on 4 years now . Only hiccup I had was choosing a bad trunnion company the first time around .(lesson learned) don’t use trunnions that are cheap . Go with smith brothers or Che .

Looking back , I originally chose a cam that wasn’t gonna “require” a torque converter . Even though it doesn’t require one and you could manage it , a torque converter was the way to go ..

So if I just included a torque converter originally in my build I could of went with a bigger cam and I’d probably wouldn’t have left anything on the table .

It’s fine though, it’s my DD work truck . Why I got the zl1 and going max effort .

The 10296 is a high volume / pressure pump that is 10% over stock. Lot's of people prefer them, I have the 10355HV which is 20% of more volume over stock. Either one of these pumps will give you more idle pressure and higher pressure across the board.

I used to have to do that also, but here of lately my engine has for some reason seemed to have calmed down. It doesn't really jerk in gear anymore or push through the brakes.

Really? That's odd that it lessened over time, I do plan on a converter in the near future though, thinkin a circle d 3800.

Well can't say that it is a bad thing, I never asked anyone. I have been doing it since the car was brand new and stock. I have always done this. Just seems to be a good thing to do to save wear and tear on the parts.

Wow that's weird. Never heard of that happening before.
