Our payment isn't much more than our previous payment for our Jeep. It fits nicely in our budget. Now the new 2012 Durango we bought is a different story....that car payment is about $150 more a month than the Camaro.

The payment itself is well within budget, but I never accounted for all the "extras", and I don't even want to do any real mods.

I need winter tires & rims, got nice seat covers, and there are some graphics I'm eyeing up. I may have to skip lunches out to make that stuff fit in my budget.

Oh well, I love this car, so it's worth it. And who knows I may even lose a few pounds by brown bagging it for a while.

easily affordable. in fact i regret not getting something nicer like a Z06. already paying 900 a month for my two cars personally. next car for sure will be a z06 or a high end BMW model. instead of two cars will just get one.

It's in the budget but I don't do cool stuff like trips, extravagant purchases, making it rain at local gentlemens club etc

The day mine becomes a burden, is the day I've forgotten how to manage my entire life. I'd like to think I'm not that stupid. And I'd like to think anyone on this board hasn't put themselves in a bad situation, over custom modifications. You do mods when you can afford them.

My company pays me 800 a month for me to use my Z71 as a work truck. My Z71 is paid for. So no burden as of yet.

I had a 06 Yukon fully loaded hen I was in Afghanistan in 2010 . I came back in may and traded it for my 2010 2ss/rs. And my payment went up 70$. I was also paying 441$ for our 2007 BMW 530i, and my wife hasn't worked in 3 yrs and she was raising out 2 little kids. So ee were fine on one income as a Lieutenant. Well 2 yrs later and 2 promotions for me and a new job for her now a GS-11 we are doing great. We sold the BMW back in Dec before we can to Germany in Jan. So this January we will have paid off all our debt minus School loans!!! And we will be purchasing a new M series X5. If I was still in the states I'd be broke but luckily it's expensive to get parts here in Germany.
