they said they checked the whole system to make sure. But they said they need to replace the ecm. That is also wat the book says to do

You really cant check the KR sensors unless you look at the scans at WOT. How much knock was the dyno saying you were getting?

If the ECM is pulling 15 degrees its the KR sensors telling it to do so.

Could be contaminated fuel like some water.

What fuel is in it btw? Just some super with no additives?

To low or high can cause that sensor or bad fuel.

edit: Also the computer does a self diagnostic and if it was bad it would tell you or not work.

So putting another is not gonna fix this. They probably replaced the sensor.

Which is why I suspect fuel quality. The car itself has no problem. Just bad juice...

This is quite curious.

I have emptied my tank and filled it back up many times. Thats what we thought it was in the first place when the check engine light came on the first time.

Would be curious how they checked the the knock sensor. Its throwing that code for a reason, if you follow the troublshooting guide for any code it will eventually lead you to a faulty ecm if everything checks out. If you get to that point, start over, you missed something. Obviously they are missing something if they have put three computers in it and all say the same thing.

OK, my computer in my car gave knock sensor codes, second computer didnt even take any programming (didnt even upload anything), third one gave a RAM code (what ever that means), but didnt show the knock sensor codes anymore. So they are getting a computer that has the same model number from the production line in Canada now.

Very sorry to hear you are having issues. I'm sure you are anxious to drive and not diagnose a mechanical problem. I will stayed tuned to check how this progresses. So far alot of good suggestions: fuel, KR sensors, electrical gremlin, and more....all good. Hang in this will get solved.

Problem fixed!!!! Back to Techco to get screwed! It now dynos at 380 rwhp and 385 ftlb. torque

The ECM was faulty and my dealership changed it out. What took so long was the engineers took a computer off the production line, tested on a car, tuned it a little better, and sent it out.

Grats man!! Glad this got cleared up. To be honest, I'm a little surprised it was the computer. I work in electronics and when a part goes bad several times, it usually ends up being the wiring or some other random part that you'd never think of. Enjoy the new puter and enjoy the ride.
