I finally saw inferno orange in person while driving next to a Colorado on the hwy for a few miles. Its OK but not nearly as eye catching as I would like. Its more of a burnt orange, and has too much rust color to me. I wish they would have used the Sunburst Orange from the HHR. That is a much more striking color.

Am I the only one that thinks the older Sunset Orange looks better?

I think Inferno Orange will be the color I'm going to get. I'll only get white stripes if they offer white interior (like the convertible concept). Other wise it'll be black stipes for me. That Solstice looks good in the color.

SOM is definitely nicer looking than Inferno Orange. The Orange on the concept convertible is better also.

OK, just saw an Inferno Orange Colorado drive through the parking lot of the local Home Depot.

I must say, it was pretty bad ass watching it "change colors" as it drove through the direct sun, into some shade and back again.

It went from metallic orange, to burnt orange, to a redish color, then back again.

That was pretty cool.

I like Cyber Grey too, but too many black silver and grey cars around..

Geez, Im going to have the order sheet compltely filled out and I'll still be debating a color....

Since orange production cars have, IIRC, never been seen, I've been trying to edit some pics and figure out what it'd look like. I used this pic as my guideline:

So based on that, I came up with these (in order of creation):

I really wanted to use SS's, but those silver and black ones just proved too difficult to edit. :(

Pic 6 of 7 is an accurate representation of what the Camaro will look like in Inferno Orange. The sun was hitting that Colorado; that is why it was that color orange. In regular lighting IOM will be more red:

Regular lighting for Colorado:

Don't get me wrong, IOM is a nice color just not the color I want.
