Scott, I was rear-ended about 2 months ago (by a junker Ford Taurus)...we both have State Farm so I got mine repaired quickly at Jimmie Johnson's Collision Center (very happy with how it turned out - ask for Paul Scheid)...repainted the rear bumper, replaced a mount broken by taking the bumper off, replaced the valence, polished the left exhaust tip...$700, plus $100 for 3-day car rental at Enterprise (across the street from JJ's)...no cost to me!

Thanks for the recommendation. The other person's insurance company said that Jimmie Johnson is one of their "Guaranteed" shops. I was thinking about using them, nice to know that they do good work. My Nephew had them repair a hole in his truck door - someone shot it with a BB gun. They did a good job on his truck also. Will probably be bringing in my car for an estimate this week.

Although, the scrape may be low enough that I could cover it with a Ground Effects Kit. I wonder if the insurance company would cover the cost of that? Something worth considering. . . .

Guess I should post some pics. Just hate having to look at it.

Who is going with VChula, Det Mscl, ARod55 to the cruise with the OG group in Orange County. We need a head count than I will pick a convient place for all of us to meet. They are saying the weather is going to be sunny. Let's support our 'SO-CAL CAMARO 5 FAMILY'

We are meeting at the carls in Buena Park at 10:00 probably be there just chatting it up for an hour. We probably will cruise Santiago canyon to el toro. Rob will update the other thread or we will bring maps for all. Hope you guys can make it up! should be a beautiful day for a cruise.

Soon as you guys finalize the details on the meet up, let me know. I assume that we are meeting in San Diego and then cruising up to the OC. My car should be out of the shop by Friday, if so, then I am in! I am assuming that we are going up on Monday the 30th?

GONZO, the cruise to meet up with the OG group is on saturday the 28th, its posted under "Calling Alll Cars/Reunion/anniversity/Birthday 5/28, all the info is on there. The last post on there says they will be there by 10:00. We will have leave no later than 8 am. Location to be determined for San Diego peeps.
