Hey GTA -

My brother noticed that when you took off up the road in 2nd gear after work yesterday there was some black smoke coming out the pipes and I said "that's a good thing - it means he has gas"...

Okay, I just ran out of gas. Called Onstar and they said sorry, we can only help one dumb Camaro owner per 30 days. Man I got a sit here for 30 days? This sucks!!!

There's all kinds of brutally witty banter in this thread that makes my co-workers keep asking what's so funny. Just remember the old addage:

We're not laughing at you, we're laughing with you! (You're just not joining in)
right I feel so much better now.......

So if you ever slide off the road and they ask how far you are from the road say no more than 10ft. It cost me $70.00.
good to know.....

ah crap..... to late to talk my way out of it now................

Ah hem.... For those that would like to know... The results of my Fuel gauge and Road Side Assistance test....

When the needle completely covers the E line you have no more than 20 miles to go.

And if you should also like to verify my findings by running your car out of gas.... for experimental purposes of course... You will also find that GM RSA will have 5 gallons of gas delivered to you free of charge as part of your warranty coverage....

However since I live out of town it was going to take them an hour to get there, So, my Wife and the kids.... who were just getting ready for bed when I called... were only 15 mins away.... So, since I had verified that GM would, In Fact bring gas to me.... I decided to call the experiment a success and have the wife come get me.....

I really have nothing more to say..... Except that you learn who your true friends are by how much then tease you when something embarrassing happens....

I have some REAAAAAALLLLLLYYYYY good "friends"

Maybe the better friends don't tease you and just offer to bring you some gas if you ever need it again , just a thought
