I'd prefer one with an LS7 or LS9 but to each their own . . .

Awesome find...I'd have bought it also...have been considering the same thing....wife keeps saying something about "we need 3 seats"....but I keep thinking I can just tie her up and throw her in the back of the vette and let the kid sit in the seat.....

Probably wouldn't hear her over the radio or engine either!!

Enjoy the new vette...you can always trade/buy a Camaro later after we've all suffered through the "gremlins" for you!

I want to thank everyone for the positive feedback, it was a difficult decision, the right one for me. We do not have children and have two other cars w/ backseats, the vette is a dream car. I will have a 2SS in my garage someday and I will not pay MSRP for it.

Yes, you are correct this is a base coupe w/ the ZL 465HP package from SLP. It is alot of car, I would love to drive the new ZR-1, they would have to keep the plastic on the seats in order to collect the drool.

You guys ROCK!!!!! I'm so glad I joined this site. IF ANYONE GETS A 2SS AND WANTS TO TRADE CARS FOR A WEEKEND, lets talk.

If I'm ever up in Kansas for an OU game, I may just take you up on that.

Nice car, you will love it...but not a fan of the Z06 emblem when its not a Z06. But then again I may be a little biased. Enjoy the ride.

Question...with the delay of the 'Vert I'm thinking of going the 'Vette route. What kind of deals are out there? With the options I want, the car is coming out to be $57,000. That's a lot more than a fully loaded Camaro Coupe. (Although, this is for the convertible vette). Do you think I could get it down to around $45,000? (Plus or minus a grand).

The problem I'm having is that heated seats are basically a "must" (not for me, but for the wife).

EDIT: I completely forgot that a targa was an option for the Coupe! The Vette just needs to have an open top...so a vert isn't required.

Just do a search on Auto Trader, the time is now, if you've ever wanted to buy a Vette. You can save THOUSANDs.

Awesome find. There’s nothing like the power, handling, looks and technology of a vette. There is really only one King of the Hill when it comes to American muscle.

Adding the SLP package is icing on the cake.
