one thing i have considered b/c I am very much on the fence also is to order both sets, and get one installed, drive around for a while, then swap out to the other ones. drive around for a while, then decide. after that you could try to sell the other set. keep in mind everyone says they change slightly (for the better) with more and more miles so if you are happy at first you will be more than happy later. this would be very expensive but you should get some of the money back when you sell the other ones later.

Hmmm kinda hard for me to compare it. At idle it isn't all that loud but when you get on it, it is indeed much louder than a big rig. IMHO it isn't too loud at all, it's about your personal taste though, if you like loud exhaust then you'll like this. But if you just want something louder than the stock exhaust but don't want it really loud then go with V2 or something else.

I've gotten my MRT v2.0 installed and am very, very happy with it!
It's not obnoxiously loud and gives the v6 a much deeper tone - it obviously doesn't sound like a V8 nor does it sound like a 350Z as it is a much lower tone. On cold start up it is a bit TOO loud... mostly from resonating so definitely expect that. The videos here don't really do it a whole lot of justice as the deeper tones aren't picked up very well. It's a little loud at the lower RPMs and almost the perfect tone to drown out conversations for those sitting in the back seat. I'll try dropping some dampening foam into the trunk area at some point and see if that is improved. It sounds much, much, much better than stock exhaust! It really comes alive in the 4k-5k rpm range in 3rd gear =D

![]() Yea videos don't help as much as hearing them in person would, but they give you a general idea. Once again when you say it's a little loud at low RPMs, can you compare the idle to something? Like is it almost as quiet as stock at idle or is it almost as loud as a big rig at idle? Yea im sure it does

Love both V1 and V2... V1 has a more aggressive, raw, in-your face sound, while V2 is a bit more full, refined sound... Been running V2 for quite a while... some days I think about going back to V1... LOL!

![]() Oh ,on a scale of 1 to 10 how much louder are v1 and v2 than stock? Yea I was watching your vids and noticed all your more recent ones have the v2 installed. Haha that's cool, you should since you have the system have you tried swapping them out after you got all your other things installed just to see how the v1 sounds?
