wow man great story! Id hate to rain on anyone's parade but I hate to say that not all people are like that. My sister's car had a lot of problems so my dad finally let her sell it and get a new one. So we went with her to a dodge dealer last week to have her test drive the challenger and a black camaro SS pulls up. I see the driver get out and a sales man walks up to him and asks if he can help him and I overhear the guy tell the salesman he wants to trade his SS in for a challenger. I was shocked but than I figured its his car and his decision. To each his own right?

Some people just cant handle the amount of awesome a 5th Gen Camaro puts out. Sometimes its best to know your limits

My salesman will fill my tank if someone tells him I sent them his way. I love your story, that is priceless! The Challenger does look good though. Gotta give it some respect. It's just not a Camaro.

hahahaha let the dodge dealer know. Don't forget to leave out the sales statistics. Thats pretty common knowledge...

I've had several of those as well. Had a guy on one of these lots with no prices ask what price I wanted to pay a few years back. I was looking at a Talon at the time and told him no more than 8K he shows me nothing but cars that are 9K and up.

I just think it is a huge misstep when a customer mentions a different car and the salesman starts telling you what a pile of junk that car is. Stick to selling the positives of you product. If you have some hard facts like- well ours did better in crash tests then OK mention it but then back to talking up your product not talking down theirs.

A full tank of gas would cost about as much as an oil change now-a-days. Mike is going to give me a free oil change and 10 free car washes, I doubt if I will use the car washes since it's a car wash machine and I prefer to hand wash the car.

GREAT STORY and very well articulated. Now you know what you have to do, go right back to the dodge dealer and tell the dude, "By the way, remember the couple you said would be returning....well they won't."
