The people camping the corners with cameras are a distraction and I am sure there have been more incidents.

If the roads were slick, he shouldn't have been carrying that much speed though the corner. And he definitely shouldn't have hit the gas with the wheels turned. But lets take common sense and driving skill out of the equation. Isn't the general purpose of traction control to prevent the wheels from spinning when hitting the throttle, for just such an occasion?

Listen to the video, he's accelerating out of the corner-there is no downshift. And, OMG, the road was NOT wet-watch the video and listen to the tires screeching!

The road was not wet? I posted 2 pictures from the same corner showing the road is well soaked and somebody that was THERE posted pictures of the bad weather.. How hard headed are you?

A lot can be said to the idiots that park their vehicles on the inside of a dangerous section of the road. But never mind them.

Show me the water in your pics. IF the road was wet, the car wouldn't have had the traction to cross the other lane, and that cloud of dust wouldn't be there! Show me where in that video the road is wet. Look at the tires on the car at the end of the video-covered in dry dirt/dust. Seriously, are you this blind?

The guys who parked on the inside of the road? You're right-totally their fault for being there.

Really? Once again... Somebody that was THERE confirmed the roads were wet.

And take a closer look at these two photographs.

Particularly the yellow lines. Plain as day.

When you have a 3800lb car sliding into dirt/sand it is a given that dry shit underneath of the surface layer will be kicked up.

Roads can sometimes remain slick for a little while after a rain due to the dirt and oil that gets lifted to the surface. Usually this is more associated with a light rain than a hard rain, since a downpour will just wash everything off.

Road looks wet on the bike photo. I agree with this. Judging by the lean angle of the bike, traction must have been horrible. GTO pic-road looks dry, tires look dry, no water on paint. Watch the video and show me the wet road. If that road WAS wet, when he braked going into the corner, he'd have been in the guard rail.

Agreed. I'm very aware of this. However, looking at the video and the amount of dust kicked up, and the tires being dry, I'm having a hard time believing the road was wet at the time of the accident.

Once again, let's say I'm wrong, and the road WAS wet. It makes this guy even more of a douche.

Then why weren't his wipers on? I'm sure it was raining in other areas of the road, but, seriously-I'm still waiting for someone to watch that video and show me water or a wet road.

Why don't you be the first...

It was posted by someone else then he states he put in his police report that he was destracted by the cameras and lost control cause of wet roads. I guess him just saying yeah it was me is owning up?

So your close to a pro driver? So your points are the most valid? So from what you said above you drive like this on public roads? If your a pro driver then you save this for the track?Cudos to you for having the best performance parts on the market cause that makes you a better driver!

So if I say I'm a pro does that make my views more valid for this video?

I do tracks days on my bikes and take my car to the track! Thats were I drive the way these machines are meant to be driven!

EDIT: Just wanted to bold this! There is a 100% fail proof way to stop this! It's to not drive like that!
Ha I track drive because I make money off of it so no I don't have to test my car out on the public roads. Have I done it though before actually getting my car to the track sometimes YES. We all have and if you sit and say you've never gave it gas and peeled out a little or even did I donut while not on a track then you sir are full of it. We all have had our moments, maybe nothing have came from it but to act like you own a car like this but never taken off fast or anything else is hardly gonna be believe.

My point is why you feel the need to bash? This topic wasn't needed since you knew thats all this would cause.
