Yeah, I'm a smart ass. I think that's the word you were looking for. Anyways, ever had a car that you know is slow, but you goad another person with a faster car into flooring it just to see it go? Yeah, I imagine that's probably what was going on there. Even if he was actually TRYING to race you, definitely not threadworthy. I mean, srsly?

We have a Chrysler Town & Country in addition to my SS. That bad boy goes from 0-60 in about an hour......and that's with a very strong tail wind!

I had a guy throwing revs at me wanting to race. Long story short it almost got him killed. I jokingly revved my engine back while he was looking at me and popped the clutch a hair and the car jumped and rolled a few feet. The guy thought was going and took off through a red light!!!!!

I winced as he (by the grace of god) passed between two cars going 40mph as he crossed through the intersection. Long story short I just ignore idiots now I am very thankful that situation did not turn out as bad as it could have! Dont try this!!!

Well, Matchbook, when you are appointed high lord of decisions as to threadworthy, I MIGHT give some thought to your comments. Unlike you, however, I watch my mouth on public threads, usually. In any event, your fertile imagination as to what happened, or may not have happened, in a place you were not at is interesting. Arrogant, but interesting.

I prefer to call myself overly confident, thanks. And I didn't realize that message boards were churches. MY BAD.

You have been a member for one month. This is not a ricer forum. Grow up and conduct yourself with some dignity.

I would laugh, but I think someone might get a little indignant.

Brotha, it's a car forum, not a country club. Take a chill pill. If you don't like the way I respond to your thread or how I perceive it, then don't reply. It's simple as that.

have to remember some people just try to enjoy life. not everybody is gifted and can have a nice car, so they enjoy what they have and just live it up.

he sounds like me. i would have done the same thing. i use to always mess around in my mazda mx3 gutless as hell but would still fool around

Yeah, when I was younger I used to do the same thing, but I would only pick on cars I had a chance to beat. I guess my point is: 1) he picked the wrong opponent, and 2) pretty stupid to street race anyway. Perhaps he was a recent transplant from Calif. and still smoking that funny stuff.

Wow. You seriously sound like the snootiest/snobbiest dude ever. Are you kidding me? You completely and utterly missed the point he was trying to make.

You should've raced him, brah. Then as you pass him, yell "VTEC just kicked in, yo!"
