I like the SoMd logo on the bowtie (maybe we could add an eagle on there since SoMd's theme is "Where Eagles Fly" - I wish I had photoshop so I could design it - Zombie?) Have fun and enjoy the meet at RIPs. I'll look forward to a "full report" on Sunday of what business was discussed. ;-)
Karen,

I have you down as an inaugural member. Can you send me your email address to dfshank@verizon.net ? Once I get an email address book together for the club it will be easier to communicate through that means. Just curious where the "Where Eagles Fly" comes from?
I'll post any results of the meet on Saturday as well as pics on this thread.

Oh no I didn't mean to. I thought that vote was for the meet this Saturday. I'm sorry. I'm definitely interested in joining the club, here's my email address melody301@yahoo.com

It won't let me change my vote so disregard my "no" vote.

I sent you my email address at your email address. "Where Eagles Fly" is on all the "Welcome to Charles County" signs at the borders -- the one I see every day is on Rt 228 just before the right turn on Rt 229/Bensville Rd. There is a brick wall with the logo on it. I'll try to get a pic for you. Can't wait to see the results and pix from Saturday's meet. Good luck.

Other Southern Maryland slogans-

"Where Amish Ride"
"More bars per capita than anywhere in the US"
"You mean you are only supposed to be in the left lane when you are passing?"
"If you get to water, you went too far"

Exclamation

Given the snow and the condition of the roads today, the next few days are supposed to be sunny and in the mid 30's. With that being said, anyone think that maybe would should do this in the spring?

I'm thinking that the roads will not be icy, just wet and then when add you the road spray, well you get where I'm going. Unless we host a carwash I don't see where those of us who take pride in their ride will want to display our cars dirty. :(

My ride is currently covered with 3 inches of snow and hasn't been washed for over two weeks due to the temps. outside. I don't have the luxury of a garage so my baby has to sit outside and endure.

There are three owners that have expressed interest in the club but cannot attend to to work, family or education commitments.

Also, I received three email addresses so far, Melody301, Lyndon and DedlyDragoness. Please respond to dfshank@verizon.net asap with your email so that I can get an address book together for the club.

Anyone have have any thoughts about postponing the meet?

Regards,
Dave

Given the current weather conditions I would not be oppossed to a rescheduled meet. That being said I unlike fellow members live less than four miles from the meet location. So I am game either way. Secondly this is the time of year when you put the camaro away buy all your upgrades and cool parts getting ready for a early spring. Either way you guys want to play this is cool with me.

Not sure where others are coming from although I am over 30 miles away in Waldorf. I wish that I could put mine away for the Winter!
