I'm always glad to see a new sports car under development, I just hope they follow the GTR model and not the LFA. Lexus waaayyy over shot. Their halo car should have been aimed at something like the R8, not world class super cars like the Murcielago and McLaren SLR. That is not what Lexus is, they don't have the heritage and their brand can't stand next to the big dogs. Nissan got it right. An absolutely amazing machine at a reasonable price point.

I assume most people talking about the NSX has never been in one.

I owned 2 and they were a lot of fun to drive. Mid engine reving behind your ear and low enough to kiss people tail pipes.

The car is not designed to be the fastest car out there, it is about the experience. Plus the car was 85k which is not bad all hand made 400lb shell

That's an opinion that most won't share with you. In the beginning, the nsx was a pretty solid car for the money. Near the end of it's lifetime it was slow and waaaayyy too expensive.

+1

I was very unimpressed with the NSX.... until I drove one. They are awesome cars!

The vast majority of those who put the car down have never even sat in one, let alone drive one.
