I've sped past a few cops and haven't been pulled over, yet.

count my blessings I guess, but I never really caught any slack in my souped up 350z.

no joke.. wanna get profiled? find a cop with his window down.. get caddy corner to him, put it in a high gear, floor it to spool a 16G turbo way up, then then let the Blow Off Valve do it's thing right as the hood gets next to his window....

again.. i'm not 16 anymore..............

Learned really quick the Synergy Green stands out on the road. Had the first SGM in north western PA. In the first 2 weeks had 3 cops pull out behind me than up along side and give me a thumbs up. The best was when I was stopped at a traffic light, a cop put his lights on to get along side me, than ask if I would pull into the parking lot when we cleared the light so he could check the car out. Turns outs he has a black 2SS

See most Cops are pretty cool, some people just get pissed when they do there job.

I used to get pulled over all the time in my 81 Camaro. My windows were 5% tint, so of course I must be doing something wrong. I'll never forget the day I was pulled over and he came to my open window with his hand on his gun, oh I was about 6 months pregnant at the time.... Needless to say the tint came off, just tired of the BS... The 2011 is 100% legal and hating it! LOL

(but then I have had it only 2 weeks)

I would say, while the cars do draw attention to themselves, its not the car that gets someone pulled over. It is the actions, ie- speeding, stoplight viol., illegal tint, in general driving like an idiot. Furthermore, The drivers attitude has a lot to do with whether they get cited, or a warning. I will agree there are a few shit-birds that wear the uniform, but the vast majority are out there trying to stop the unlawful behavior, in effect, cut down on the MVA's! SO.... My philosophy is simple..... If I can give a break where one is needed, and I feel that a warning would stop the unlawful behavior, then a warning is given. Consider it a positive contact with the people trying to save you or a loved one from death or harm.
If I stop someone doing something stupid, or having the 'attitude' that I am harassing them, or they are above the same laws we all have to follow, we follow the book, and Officer descretion is out of the question. I have been stopped a few times for speeding, and if I get a citation, then "I guess I had that one comin".

To quote the legendary Buford T. Justice "That's an attention getter." Attention getter? That's an understatement, LOL. I got my Synergy Green 2SS/RS on Thursday October 14, at 8:30 PM. No joke, on Friday morning October 15, 6:00 AM the Saratoga Springs Police Department is sitting in front of my house checking out my car. Unbelievable not even ten hours old and I'm on their "radar". Kids were coming around from all over my neighborhood to take pics as someone said above the "Green Bumble Bee" with their phones. Everyone seems to have some kind of comment. I had it at work a couple of days later (we have a family business) and my father goes outside and these two customers are taking pics in front of my car, one shooting the other, again with their phones. I think I've nearly caused a few accidents since getting my car. Two days ago another customer couldn't stop raving about it. He was kinda having a midlife crisis right before my eyes, hilarious. A truck from my local municipality stopped in the middle of the road!!! I was stopped at a light, and the guys in the truck leaned out the windows phones in hand to shoot it. Synergy Green is an amazing color and I wouldn't change it for any reason. I just didn't realize when I ordered it that it would end up being a celebrity car like K.I.T.T. or Bumble Bee or maybe an M1 Abrams tank. I love my car but if you don't want or can't stand being the center of attention buy another color. With all of that said however this car in this color ROCKS and I love it!!!

I posted the above comments on the SGM thread right after I got my car. Now it's taking it's long winter nap.

One other tid bit of info... If the Police are riding close to your back bumper, there's a good chance one of three things are going on...... they are trying to read the tag or decals(month and year of expiration), getting ready to stop you, once a NCIC check of the plate is done, OR your in the freakin way!!! Move over, or do the freakin speed limit!!! The people that normally do 5mph over, always tend to slow down to 5 mph under, when the Police get behind them. If a Police Officer gets in behind you, don't be an idiot and slow down, unless you see the pretty red and blues.

I was once asked recently how fast I’ve had the car by a deputy at a gas station. I responded with a little over a hundred. I was being honest but his response was, no really? I told him that was it, because they didn’t have a sense of humor if I had got caught. Come to find out he had a car just like mine, and his top speed was 147 on the freeway. After a few minutes of small talk he said that if I did get pulled over by him or another deputy, I would probably be told to simply slow down.

However, if I did get a ticket, I would have deserved it if I was caught doing a hundred plus. Besides, like the rest of us, most of the time they are simply doing their job.

Last Thursday morning I was filling up with gas (4:30am) I had a cop pull up next to me asking about my car and he was shocked when I told him the paint job came from the factory,he thought it was a custom job

The guy was really cool,told me he saw me going down the road the day before.he also said I will be hard to miss going down the road,and that he loved the car

The looks that come my way driving this car is awesome in it's self...

That's not always true. A cop cut me off one day as I was doing the speed limit and he jumped on me when I had the right away. He pulled up next to me saying I need to slow "that thing" down because I was obviously speeding. I told him I wasn't speeding at all and that HE cut ME off.
