Far from rich.

Traded in my paid off 2005 Mustang GT... that was paid off quickly (Nov 04 - Jan 06) because I traded in a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport... that was paid off quickly (Nov 99 - Jan 03) because I traded in a 1997 Jeep Wrangler SE which I purchased Jun 96 w/ a 48 month loan -paid in 36 mos.

The key is to work hard, make wise financial decisions and buy cars you like that hold their value, at least well enough to roll that value to the next vehicle. Also, have a plan & budget for mods. Once you complete all the planned mods, start putting additional money toward paying your loan off sooner and/or your next car purchase.

Personally, I prefer having low monthly payments (under $400 @ 60 mos. or less) so I have the option to either make larger payments, buy mods or have a 2nd new car.

Live within your means, never over-extend yourself.

Heck I heard it took you 6.5 years to get through the third grade...

Actually, I respect the heck out of anyone that manages to finish school... My oldest son just graduated in Dec. He was drafted to play pro ball out of college, and wasnt finished with his degree... He was released last summer after three years of pro ball, and when he was offered a position with three other teams, he opted to not play, and instead finish his degree... He can still go back to pro ball if he wants.. but he Graduated... Woo Hoo...

Working hard and making the monthly payments is how im getting mine, a good paying job with good credit didn't hurt when i went to get my nice big loan! Also budgeting helps so i can live on 3 paychecks a month and the 4th goes to my car! Any mods im doing is with my overtime like another person said earlier. To sum it all up im just living the american dream!

Manage your budget and live within your means can save you money for a good down payment. I'm not rich but I sold my soul to the government for a job. lol jk, or am I?

Yeah, I think the majority must be rich with all of the mods, and the 2SS, and leaving the $36,000 car in the garage 11 months out of the year. Not hatin', just sayin. Guess I'd live more like that too if I could.
