if you want a car that looks cooler then any other car out there right now then get the camaro
if you want a car that has a little more power but the rear end is butt ugly then get the mustang

Good choice. Not sure how people can look at the ugly back end of a Rustang.

Glad you chose the Camaro, but I was also going to throw out the fact that the Mustang does not have curtain air bags, and Ford continues to use the "one pull unlock/open" door mechanisms, which means if you have your doors locked and pull the inside handle they unlock and open with the same pull. At least on the Camaro you have to pull it twice: once will unlock it, and then you have to pull it a second time to open the door.

I always thought Ford's design on that front was dumb, particularly if you have a youngster in the car.

You should hear my girlfriend's disgust with the sequential tail light twinkling the new Mustang's have. She will break mid-sentence to tell everyone how gay it looks.

Other than that and the rest of the back end, I think the 2011 Mustang is a great value. All objective comparisons aside, the Camaro just "does it" for me.

Drive them both and decide which car "does it" for you.

The performance of the two cars is close on paper, but in feel and soul they are very different. I describe it as the Camaro is a sports car for grown ups. It has that classic American muscle feel about it. Solid, firm, and very willing to run. I have never sat in a car that seems so eager to do whatever I ask of it.

Mustang. Stock vs Stock it's faster and live axle is cooler. Plus it revs up higher

As a former Mustang owner....The new Mustang is an ok car, but the Camaro is a great car. I have no regrets

I have not driven a 5.0 and I have no intentions to drive one, but if you are wanting my opinion I would definately reccomend that you buy a Camaro. I will add that I have always been a Camaro/ Chevy man so my opinion could be bias
