Nice thing about a SLP ZL585 is theres a few 2011s left over at dealers now. Buy a fully warranted 585HP Camaro for 10k off sticker with 0% financing and save 10K (assuming your buying at MSRP which most are not) over the price of a ZL1! Im in, taking delivery next week on a car thats rarer than a ZL1 and in stock... Cant wait

I lean toward the GM ZL1 over the ZL585, but right now the ZL585 numbers (straight line) are A LOT better. I am really waiting for Motorweek to test the GM ZL1 on their turf.

One week ago on 4/21, John Davis of MOTORWEEK said to stay tuned to next week's edition for a FULL TEST of Chevy's production ZL1. Of course, PBS showed steam locomotives instead during that time slot... argh! Velocity & Speed Channel are usually a week behind, so NO ZL1s until Saturday, May 5th on PBS. Of course, I plan to DVR that segment for posterity. I picked up my Victory RED ZL1 with exposed weave carbon fiber extractors, polished 5 spokes, DARK gray stripe kit & paddle shifters. It was throughly detailed & delivered in absolutely perfect condition. My #61 is a BEAST & from what I've been told, the 1st one in KC, MO.

Must see this and CONGRATS on the ZL1 I hope we soon see some members pull down ZL585 numbers I think the ZL585 numbers throw the "it weights too much" argument out the window in terms of the 5th gen Camaro.
