I am going to continue to drive my SS daily. If Gas get out of control like $6 a gallon then I will go pay cahs for new Chevy Cruze........and turn my SS into my weekend fun car.

Drill here drill now...build refineries...we are still not letting them (us) drill in the gulf WHEN china, mex, south america are out there..we have more oil reservers in and around U.S. than the TTs do..

AND remember the feds make more off a gallon of gas than the oil companies, with no investment or risk...It is the greens that have you paying more then necessary....just put a wind turbine on that should do it......rant over

Buy what you want and drive what you want...cut back else where if you are really a car guy/gal....

DD for me. My daily commute, back and forth, is like 5 miles, so gas price does not affect me much for the DD part.

well I get pretty good gas mileage now, I drive about 40 miles round trip daily, I will ride my harley weather permitting if it gets to be 4.00 or higher like the last time this happened. It is almost 4.00 a gal now in my town won't be much longer. Although I still have to purchase the high test for the bike too so although I won't have to buy as much it will still cost me considerably more to get to work to pay for the gas!

>>>I still call our SS the Anti-Prius...or Anti-SmartCar...or better yet the Anti-Granola Eaten or Tree Huggen or Polically Correct...Compact car Terrorizer

Yes!

No Change. The SS gets better mileage than anything else I own - Guess I'll drive it more, poor me.....NOT!

I drive mine daily. I still find myself laughing when I see a smart car on the road. I even saw a female driving one the other day and she actually tried to challenge me on the highway!! I rolled down my windows and said "ARE YOU SERIOUS??!!!!"

I drive mine daily. It sure is alot cheaper than the Diesel truck I traded for this SS. I mean at the time I was paying 115.00 a week to drive to work. Now I pay 46.00 a week to drive. Easy decision.

It's not just gas prices to worry about. It's the general price increases of all goods. And then, of course, if the economy goes from bad (which I still believe it is) to worse, how many will have jobs to even commute to?

Smile!!!

Heck my daily driver right now is my 04 Ram that gets 10-12mpg depending on if the city is running the winter blend of fuel or not. The Camaro gets 17mpg in town so it's going to be cheaper (and maybe more fun) to drive.
