Well, the wife has our good camera so I had to revert to my iPhone... I took this in the garage after I finished the install of the ADM so it's a bit dark, but I think you all will still get the idea. I'm still short 3 x small mods to the engine compartment. The blank spot on the stripe is where I'll be putting an engine plaque.

No David, you have to open it!!!

Scott Settlemire is the signature that I picked up a few weeks back. He was the long-time Corvette/Camaro team chief for Chevrolet. My dealer is going to sign the opposite side and "you know who" is going to have the panel covering the radiator all to himself!

Didn't you say that the white on the cover is a tape or vinal ? I love that cover. would like to get that done to mine.

The center is painted "white diamond" but the stripe is actually a vinyl because of the surface texture of the cover. For some reason my paint guy, who is VERY good, couldn't get it to work right so we opted for the vinyl stripe. Right after I bought the car I knew exactly what I wanted to do with the cover.

I showed my 02 SS Limited Edition for nearly six years and I dressed the engine compartment up on it as well. I can't have a "normal" engine compartment!!! Having a "new" car at the shows is bad enough, but I have to have something that sets it apart from all of the other new cars there. Small detail David, but I think it adds just the right touch by mirroring the hood.

If you are wondering, Pete at Showstopper Accessories did all of my custom boxes, to include the ADM. Kudos to Pete!

Talked to Tim at JARHEADBOB AND MAX and he informed me that my trunk enclosure is on its way!!! This is the first one that he has made aside from the prototype. I've posted a teaser for you and I'll get some pictures after the install. I haven't had a chance to take more of the engine as I have been very busy with work, family, and my Masters. More to follow!

Did you guy's know that the Mecum Auction is going on the same time that we are in Indy. The auction is about 4 miles away at the fair grounds.

PS: Michael, My wife said to stop posting photos of your car because it makes me sick . I want to do that to my car and she want let me.

Sorry David... :( I just finished installing everything a little while ago and giving the ole gal the once over before coming in from the garage. I've got a show tomorrow if God is willing and the sun shines without rain... I'll post some ..... "event" pictures afterward. Oh, by the way, that trunk enclosure up above, its the first one that Tim produced and I'm telling you it is beautiful! Great workmanship!! The emblem is cut from wood and then an overlay was installed!! More to follow.... Oh, and tell you wife I apologize and I'll buy her some coffee next month... or juice...

It's been a long weekend! Saturday turned out to be very nice for the show. So nice in fact that after spending all day out in the sun, and getting burned, the Ole Gal and I walked off with Best in Show!!! Òur club did very well over all with Best Chevrolet, Top 40 and Best of Show! Nearly all of us walked off with a trophy! Here are a few pictures.......

I had the Zylon treatment added and then I've put perhaps 10 coats of Turtle Wax ICE "spritz" spray wax on her. Brings out the shine nicely. All of these photos were taken during overcast skies but trust me when I say she shines! I've tried lots of spray wax and the ICE is the best by far! Try and get some sleep David!
