Depends on the combination but everyone reports Tons of Throttle response.

Read up on the Throttle body Threads, Have never heard of anyone being disappointed and you would hear for sure if that was the case.

Hi JRE,
I still have my Stock 2010 LS3 but I'm thinking to start moding it this summer starting with a JRE tune. I've read that getting the SCTX3 with your tunes is the real deal.
Is a tune a good place to start the HP/TQ upgrade?
I run my LS3 on 94 octane here in Montreal, Can you set up a tune for it?
but when I'm on a road trip, I stuck using 91. I know the stock setup has 2 tables for fuel it can switch from but I guess tuning it to 94 means I will have to do it manually?
(changing it back to 91 tune)
Anyway, I'm still a bit skeptical about it, how much diffrence will there be at the end?
Thank you in advance
mike.

Tuning is an excellent place to start especially if you have 94 octane available.

You would need a separate tune for 91 octane.

GM has done a real good job when it comes to peak power numbers they are with in 5-10 HP of Best power.

It is the Nanny features that I get rid of that makes the car real fun to drive.

As you purchase your parts from me tunes for those parts are Free and you continually reuse your SCT X3.

Ted.

When you refer to the Nanny features, are you taking about the speed limiter, Rev limiter and Traction control?

I installed Ted's tune today! Just followed his directions and everything went perfectly. There is no thread on this forum that can describe how much better this A6 performs with his tune until you drive one, with his tune and then you will be the next to order.

Hey Ted,
I have a SCT X3 from you. Could you do a second tune that I could load before bringing my car in to the dealer for non-drivetrain warranty work? Maybe just change the rev limiter to 3000 rpm's??? This would keep the car drivable but prevent a service tech from having to much fun. We could just call it the "nanny tune"
