DB/DB was the latest for a while. That's what I have, and it definitely resolved all my issues. I think a few others have had success with DA/DX, and according to Gene Culley at GM Parts House, there is now a new version out there.

Click the link to this post and you'll be able to track him down:

After my 5th trip to the dealer, am still at HW ID: CC SW ID: CE. The same as it was updated to on 3/27. Tech said he updated the software. But it must not have been PIDM software as it did not change. He said to see how it works now.

This is getting old.

I should not have to go through this kinda of hassle with a new car.

Time to contact Chevrolet Customer Service. They will get you hooked up. Like I said, be polite, but persistant. Make sure everything is documented.

You're not going to get past the "C" hardware code until you change your hardware (i.e., your PDIM). Continuing to upgrade the software on a bogus PDIM is a futile effort.

I would check with your dealership before hand to make sure that having the tune won't hurt your chances of getting the vehicle repaired under warranty. I hope you get your issues resolved.

Thanks to post # 539 on this thread:

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...84#post3315684

It appears that I may finally be getting the issues resolved.
Not sure why it has taken 5 trips to dealer and they worked on it 3 of those (will be 6 trips and 4 times they have worked on it when they install the new module) and 5 or 6 calls to get this far but they are going to order the PDIM and it should be installed by early next week.
I was told Monday by a GM Customer Service rep that some one would be getting with me no later than today; still waiting for that call. No one from the dealer has even checked with me about status of the repair. Not sure why they could not have found the TSB back on 5/31 as they told me they had called gm about it.

Not real happy about the gm service.

Today the dealer installed a new PDIM and the levels are now DA/DX. So far so good. Haven't used it enough to say weather or not its fixed.

Have only used it on 5/6 trips and have had issues twice. First time wouldn't reconized usb drive. So installed another one and let it index and play for a minute. Removed it and reinstalled the other usb device and it worked. Today installed another usb drive and it played fine for aobut 20 minutes before I turned off the engine. Restarted car about 45 minutes later and it would not recognize the usb drive. Gave up and went back to XM>

So some issues are still with me

I have the exact same issues. However, to me it is a big deal. If I am playing a song and turn off the car, then when I restart, it takes 3 or so minutes to index the songs again. Then by that time, the pdim system ALWAYS selects the first song on my USB disk. I can't tell you how tired I am of hearing "03 Bonnie and Clyde with Beyonce and Jay-Z"

And having to reset the damn interface to Random every time I start the car is the dumbest "feature" in the world. Is this a bug?

ONE time I noticed static when using my iPod. But I couldn't reproduce it for the dealer. Several times my radio would not play any audio when I turned on the car. I switched between sources and even hit the "mute" button a few times. It turns out that If I hit the "call" button on the steering wheel, the BT module will say "Thank you. goodbye" and music will resume. I hadn't even been making a call. This happened on car startup! If you turn the car off then back on, there still wouldn't be audio. You have to open the door and close it when the car is off or hit the "call" button on your steering wheel to get music to play again. But I can't reproduce this repeatably either so the dealer won't fix anything.... They also said no TSB existed, and from this site, I know it does!!!!
