Sorry I didnt read all the pages of posts but I would ask (please forgive me if too personal) (retorical anyways) Is your father alive? Does this car remind you of him? If alive how's your relationship? If he is alive which I hope, awesome, if you have a good relationship, even better. If this car may have sentimental value to you in the future, 20, 30 years down the road, I'd care for it and leave it alone. It's all up to you in the end though Bro.

Not too personal. Alive and well. We have a good relationship. The car does NOT remind me of him... more my childhood and how much I loved the car as a kid.

I decided against it... No time to devote to it to make it worth or.

I think you've made a great decision, you can't saee the future and 20 or 30+ years down the road you may find the car even more valuable and filled with more memories than you realize. I wish I had my fathers 1971 Dodge Challenger. It DOES remind me of him, every time I see one. Good luck and nice car too man, I had an 86 with T-tops, hehe I loved that car, I miss my 68 more though.
