Imo camaros are the best bang for you buck in the market if you want a car with power but don't want to break the bank for under 32k. I knew this was coming so I started a mod savings last year to prepare for it.

That is so true! I am orginally from Spokane and flew up to visit relatives. Drove across the state and saw ONE Camaro. Saw none in Spokane. And we were looking too - even told my nephews I'd pay them $1 for every Camaro spotted so had lots looking. I think it has something to do with the climate? Here in AZ, we can drive our Camaros year round so there's more of em.

I kind of get liking the idea of being unique and something different with a huge "Wow!" factor on the road... but, did anyone seriously think their ~$25k-$35k car(s) were going to be rare? I honestly think it's amazing how uncommon the Camaro still is after being out for essentially two years. I mean, if in two years of a body style you only see 4-5 per day, I'd say that is still pretty rare regardless of how far apart they are.

I kind of like seeing a lot of them. It's not as common as Mustangs or any of the other daily bangers you see on the road.

Just enjoy all of them! Recruit them for more people to come to a Camaro5Fest!!

I can spot almost that many Mustangs in a shopping mall parking lot just while driving to the back stalls to park.

I took mine out for a cruise this weekend after a fuse pull and saw 2 Gen5s. However, I saw at least 20+ Mustangs - they breed a lot. You could drive 2 of them into an empty garage and 3 would come out.

then trade it in and free up some room for us... I have love for GM and Chevy, if you bought it for the new "wow" "cool thing" that time is passing.

I don't mean to be rude, but I always wonder what that says about someone's personality when that the only reason they buy something and then consider trading it in after.. (not saying you all intend to sell)

I always notice vehicles that are like mine. It could be the Camaro, a Ram like mine, or a Pilot like my wife's- I kind of think it's fun to see other vehicles that I enjoy. I usually only see a 5th Gen Camaro about once a week though- there aren't that many in Missoula.

I've never seen another 5th Gen while I'm out driving in mine. I did however, see 3 around town today while driving my Honda Pilot. I've never seen more than 1 around town at a time so I thought that was odd today.

I have the only CGM in town, good enough for me. I'm glad too see more Camaros but I do feel slightly less special.

I see quite a few too.. Hence the over-striped paint job and soon to be new wheels.

It's hard to believe that anyone would consider this just a car. :( But you're right. When I would complain to my husband that people weren't waving back, he reminded me that not everyone has the feeling for their Camaro that I do. I have come to accept that, and I wave anyways. You can usually tell the ones who appreciate it. My husband was a Camaro guy, and I love him for bringing me to this car.

I think the number you see on the road has a lot to do with who is buying them now. Those that bought them in the first year or so were almost exclusively those who had been waiting a long time to get one. I suspect most of them are more or less garage queens. Now that they have been on the market for a couple years and some are showing up used, more people are buying them that drive them as daily drivers.
