For those that don't know. Love bugs are these tiny black bugs that are "stuck" together and when they splatter on your car, their juices eat through your paint in about 12 hours. Nasty little things.
I've seen one other already post this, but its good advise. Keep some waterless wash and some terry cloths in your trunk and just touch it up as needed. If you wait for this to end you might as well just lock your garage until November...Atleast in SW (St.Pete) area we only are lovebug-less for about 3 months (Nov-Jan) around Feb they start showing up again... My paint is fine and my Maro is a DD....

My folks live in Florida and they said it is the worst season in 30 years for the love bugs. Mom said my dad is washing the cars everyday because they are so bad that a simple trip to the store and back kills quite a few.

Oh I forgot!!!! You can spray PAM on your front end and the bugs wont stick!!! and PAM as long as it doesnt sit too long (weeks) does not mess up your paint! Besides if you're like most of us you clean your car ATLEAST once a week so it will help!

Just got back home from a trip to Florida (not in the Camaro), they are so bad that I had to stop several times just to clean the windshield.
