How much did this kit cost? and I'm curious how reliable these cutouts are, I know qtp are either problem free, or they start having issues down the road after a few thousand miles. These seem like a much better and cheaper alternative than a $2000 exhaust system.

The DMH Cutouts are very reliable. We have installed a bunch of these on Camaros and Corvettes with no failures. They are built very well and have excellent motors that are designed to withstand the massive heat generated by the exhaust system. The DMH cutouts will take you from mild to wild with the push of a button.

I bought them directly from Dave... The guy that makes them. He lives about 10 minutes from me but I think they are like $400 shipped.

How did y'all run the wires from the cutouts into the passenger compartment? Im getting mine installed as I type this but the shop won't do the wiring, so that's pretty much up to me. I briefly glanced under the vehicle to look for places to run the wire but couldn't really find anything definitive. If you could possibly provide a semi-detailed description of how yours is done and pictures if possible would be awesome

Disregard.

If you mess with something long enough, you'll eventually figure it out.

These things are outrageous. Put them right behind my Solo High Flow Cats, and holy hell is it loud when the cutouts are open.

We took my cats out and put mine right behind the headers. It's monster truck loud!

I had mine put on at the bend directly after the Solo High Flow Cats. My questions was more on where to run the wire.

I put the car up on a lift and started poking around. Ending up running the harness through the shifter's grommet into the passenger compartment, directly to the switch on the side of the center console.

And yes, they sound amazing. I just describe it as "Stupid Loud"... opened them up and went WOT in a tunnel today... WOW!
