Prospective Buyer, the 2012 model will start production on the 18th of July. I would suggest talking with your dealership to see if they would have the allocation for 2012 model year vehicles yet. I don't have any actual specific date that the ordering begins but I do know that one Camaro5 Member (StOrM TrOOpEr) did try to order a 2011 model not long ago and got bumped to a 2012 model. I hope that helps you.

Get a new 1LT RS, I got mine when I was 17 and out of my own experience if you buy a used Camaro you might as well buy a new one cause they are around the same price. The reason you should get a 1LT RS is cause you said your not into speeding or going fast, ect. so you don't need a V8 (SS), an with a 1LT RS you get all the looks outside and cloth inside, now I have the 2LT and its not really worth spending that much on a LT just for leather and gauges, cause if your going to spend 30k+ get a SS or stick with a 1LT around $26-28k. And Good Luck with it, either way it is a Camaro and you will get ALL the attention on the road or at school...TRUST ME

So, V6 RS 1LT. Now I just need to find a dealership that doesn't go over MSRP. So far Becky is the only one I've found. I need one in MA. I'm not to sure how shipping one from MI to MA would work out.

Bought my car from Becky, and it was an awesome experience. Got a great price, she was a pleasure to deal with as well. Had my SS delivered straight from Oshawa to a local dealership. The pickup went very well, they had my car ready to go when I arrived! She's awesome dude. Can't go wrong with this dealer

Have you or your parents considered purchasing in NH? There is no sales tax.

I did a quick search and 1LT's are few and far between. Two I found in NH are both automatics

Banks Chevrolet in Concord NH has one 1LT here, though I have no experience with them.

As for below MSRP, I purchased a 2011 2SS for 3K below MSRP at Littleton Chevrolet. They have a 1LT in stock, but not an RS. I can provide the name of my salesperson if you want, though it's a 2+ hr drive for you.

In order to get the no sales tax, don't you need to register it in NH? My cousins and I share a house up in Littleton, or right next to it I do believe. I never pay attention up there. Just ski! I'll check your links out thanks, and if sharing the name of your salesmen is cool with you can you PM it?

No clue on the sales tax, but what you say makes sense. I know you can buy booze and cigs tax free here without proof of residency

Sales guy is Rob Randall, if you decide to contact him, PM me and I'll give you my name, so you can name drop

FYI, I purchased in February which was one reason I got the deal I did, but you should be able to do better than MSRP on any 2011 on the lot at any decent dealer

Where do you Ski? I'm 3 miles from Cannon, 20 from Loon and Bretton Woods.

When I'm with the family we usually go to Attitash or Loon, sometimes Wildcat? I think that is the name. With my Friends we drive up to his house and ski at Loon, Bretton, and Waterville. I'm forgetting another one but it's cool. I will let you know soon if I will contact him!

Okay. FYI, the red LT in Littleton is a non-RS and as such has 18 inch wheels, which if you plan on using it as year-round transportation, make getting winter tires much less expensive
